    Brownies with a Swirl

This recipe is simple, made with probably everything you already have. Homemade brownies that are moist but not too fudgy. They hold their own when you cut the cooled bars, AND the best part is that they have a yummy, creamy cream cheese swirl. Please follow and like us:

    Keto Blueberry Crumble

I was hungry this morning, but nothing sounded good. I had some fresh blueberries (about 2 1/2 cups) that I needed to use, but muffins or hot cereal topped with them didn’t ring my chimes. Then I thought of making blueberry crumble for breakfast just because I could. I figured, fresh fruit, a little keto crumble and a splash of heavy whipping cream to add in my fat for the meal. Bravo! Coconut Date Nut Balls

You know when you can’t help yourself from eating something wonderful before it’s done? Well, these are like that. Once I make this warm candy, I can’t even wait until I roll them into balls, then in coconut and I’ve got a mouthful of that warm, date/butter mixture. It’s almost too hot, right out from the pan, to put in my mouth but so worth it. You know what I mean. My friend, Becky, loves for me to make them at Christmas. Unless she’s on a low-carb eating plan, then I just keep them for myself. I always make them though during the holidays because Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without…

    A Texas Dessert Tradition

If you’re from Texas, you’ve had this cake. I pretty much grew up on it. It’s thin, made in a baking sheet, or sheet pan (hence the name) and has nuts on top, or not. It used to be made with part butter and part shortening (Crisco, to be exact), but I now make it with only butter. Crisco’s out of style. Print Texas Sheet Cake Ingredients FOR THE CAKE nonstick cooking spray 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. kosher salt 1 c. Butter cubed 1 c. water 1/4 c. cocoa powder 2 large eggs 1/2 c. sour…
