I’m gonna admit it-I’m not a fan of the pork rind. There, I’ve said it.
So, in order to incorporate them into my low carb life, I sweetened them up a bit, and they really satisfy my sweet tooth and the need for crunchy things!
Be sure and add more or less cinnamon and sweetener as you need to suit you. They are GOOOOOOOOD!
Cinnamon “Sugar” Crunchies
- 1 bag pork rinds
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons sweetener like Splenda or Swerve
- nonstick cooking spray-I use coconut or butter spray
Pour the entire bag of pork rinds into a large gallon size ziplock bag.
Spray liberally with cooking spray. Sprinkle cinnamon and sweetener on top and close ziplock and shake well.
1-2 carbs per serving
