    Finger Foods for the Super Bowl

    I’m thinking that The Super Bowl is the most popular time to serve finger foods-whether it’s going to be a party of 1 or a party of 100. I figure it’s easier to watch the game while stuffing your face with finger foods instead of trying to use a fork or spoon. None of these photos are mine-I got them from Pinterest, so simmer down.     Fried Pickles

    I’m not sure if fried pickles are a Southern appetizer or not, but we love them. The key is to not buy store bought pre-sliced dills but whole dills and slice them yourself. They are thin this way and make for crispy little dippers. For dredging, I used whole wheat flour, but you can use any type. For the cornmeal mixture, I used a combination of yellow cornmeal and a self-rising cornmeal mix from While Lily-but you can use just one or the other.
